Our Team

The owner and Chief Investigator of Graham McGruer & Associates.  A graduate from Western Sierra Law School receiving a Juris Doctor degree in 2009. He has over 40 years of experience in law enforcement and corrections. 

He began his investigative career in the U.S. Navy as a Master-At-Arms with assignments as Military Chief of Police at NAF Midway Island, Canine Handler and Investigator with Narcotics Interdiction Teams Pacific, and Chief Investigator at the Naval Administrative Command, San Diego, California. He was a Sergeant with the Bremerton Police Department in Washinton State. He retired in 2004 as a Peace Officer from the California Department of Corrections serving as a Correctional Officer, State Parole Agent, and Correctional Counselor in the Litigation Office. 

After retiring from CDC he obtained a license as a Private Investigator through the California Bureau of Investigative Services and was on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Licensed Investigators from 2007 to 2010. In August 2020, Graham McGruer moved away from California and became established in Bruceville-Eddy applying for a license with the State of Texas as a Private Investigator.

Colton is the head of the Digital Forensics Division. He hails from Valley Mills, Texas. A graduate from Texas State Technical College with degrees in 

Computer Digital Forensics and Cyber Security. He earned certificates in FTK and Encase, Security+, and CCNA.  He began his career working for Texas Law Shield and then performing logistics for AAFES (Army, Air Force, Exchange Services). Colton has 7 years of experience in the Information Technology world, including working for United Ag and Turf and then Meduit.

Cherie graduated from Southwestern College in Chula Vista, California, with an Associates in Arts, Business Administration with Honors with emphasis in accounting.
